Deformed Bar
Overview
Steelforce supplies mild steel deformed bar (Rebar) – Class N in a range of sizes. Deformed bar is used in a range of residential, infrastructure and commercial application including reinforced concrete slabs, cages, prefabricated beams, columns and precast products.
Deformed Bar is utilised for reinforcing concrete structures in order to fortify and bond the concrete in a compressed state, it is a tensioning device. The ridges in the steel provide for better mechanical anchoring in reinforced concrete.
Steelforce’s Deformed reinforcing bar is a Class N, or normal ductility reinforcing bar and complies with AS/NZS 4671 standards.
