Parallel Flange Channels (PFC)

Overview

Parallel Flange Channels also commonly known as PFC, U-channels, structural channel or simply channel, are a key component in building construction and large fabrication projects and is used for structural support.

PFC adds strength and durability to projects where applied. From steel columns to bracing for floor joists, or portal frames to trailer frames, PFC is widely used alongside steel beams and universal columns.

Steelforce have a large range of Parallel Flange Channels in a variety of sizes from 75 x 40mm to 380 x 100mm, standard lengths are 6m, 7.5m, 9m, 10.5m, 12m, 13.5m, 15m, 16.5m, 18m.  Our PFC are manufactured in Australia from 300PLUS steel and exceed the minimum requirements of AS/NZS 3679.1 – 300.
