Welded Columns
Overview
Structural steel welded columns are made concurrently along both flange-web joints in a horizontal position, this creates an excellent product that can handle remarkable loads. Welded columns are a key component in the construction of commercial and industrial buildings, as well as mineral and energy plants or stations. Welded columns are designed to withstand buckling under heavy loads and is used for structural support.
Welded Columns provide exceptional support and durability to projects where applied. From large-scale engineering projects to residential construction or manufacturing operations welded columns are widely used and a ductile steel material for projects where high-strength is essential.
Steelforce have a large range of Welded Steel Columns in a variety of sizes from 350WC to 500 WC, standard lengths are 9m, 10.5m, 12m, 13.5m, 15m, 16.5m and 18m. Our welded columns are manufactured in Australia from 300PLUS steel and exceed the minimum requirements of AS/NZS 3679.2.
